Kelly Fluitt was born in Reno and was raised in Carson City. She went to the University of Nevada Reno for her undergrad and graduate school, and is a true Nevadan through and through. She and her husband recently spent three years in Sacramento, California, after he was offered a great opportunity with the company he worked for. They knew they would always come back to Nevada and says she is glad to be “home!”

​Kelly always knew she wanted to help people, even as a little girl. When she started college, she decided to pursue nursing with the aspiration of becoming a pediatric nurse. She worked 15 years in the Emergency Department as a registered nurse and then eventually as the manager. Kelly knew that she wanted more, she wanted to “impact and care for people.” In 2001 she started grad school and graduated in 2007 as a Nurse Practitioner. She then worked at Carson Medical Group from 2007-2016.
