Ella Pomerlyan is a graduate from University of North Carolina at Charlotte (UNCC). Ella is not only a new resident of Carson City, Nevada, she is the new Family Nurse Practitioner here at Carson Medical Group.
Born in Ukraine, Ella moved to the United States in 2000 with her family. She is fluent in Russian and Ukrainian. Ella moved to Carson City from Charlotte, North Carolina, which she called home for the last 12 years.
When asked 'Why Nevada?' Ella explains that living in Nevada allows her to not only be closer in proximity to her family, but it also gives her everything she is looking for to live the quality life she envisions for herself. Ella loves the outdoors. Hiking, biking, skiing, long walks in the nature is what keeps her energized and inspired. Beautiful Lake Tahoe and Sierra mountains in Carson City’s back yard give her plenty of options to pursue her hobbies.
Ella’s focus is educating her patients on prevention of chronic conditions. "Prevention and early detection of disease is the key to improving quality of life," she explains. "I want to give my patients the tools necessary to optimize their overall health." Her passion is about building trusting relationships based on mutual respect. She believes that putting in the hard work on the front end, efficient organization and follow through will help her achieve this goal. Her favorite quote is "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you".
